Phone Contact Illustrations

This project addresses a small but frequent usability challenge: quickly identifying and accessing the same contacts on a phone. To streamline that experience, I designed a set of custom illustrated icons used as home screen shortcuts, allowing each contact to be recognized instantly at a glance.

Each illustration was crafted to be visually distinct while remaining legible at small sizes. The work draws from caricature techniques and clean vector illustration, emphasizing clarity, consistency, and visual differentiation within tight spatial constraints. This project was created independently as a self-directed design exploration.
